
Tracy Emiko Dasho, LMFT, PMH-C
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (lic#107448) with a specialty in perinatal mental health, and have a particular focus on supporting new mothers and their babies. My background includes a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a masters degree in psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute with a specialization in art therapy. Prior to working in private practice, I trained for two years at the Beverly Hills Maple Counseling Center, a community mental health agency providing extensive education and supervision in psychodynamically-oriented psychotherapy. My experience also includes an art therapy-based internship at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles and a resident associate role at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center-affiliate, Teen Line, a confidential helpline for young callers.
In addition, I received advanced training from the Psychoanalytic Center of California’s one-year psychoanalytic psychotherapy program, as well as a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International.
